1. Information we collect

a) Personal information. When you place an order, send us a message or rate an order, we collect:

• Full name
• Mobile number
• Delivery address and the location pin you share (delivery orders only)
• Your orders, ratings and comments, linked to your mobile number for loyalty rewards
• Payment status and reference number. Card, UPI and bank details are entered only on Paytm's secure page or your UPI app; we never see or store them.

b) Non-personal information. We may automatically collect:

• IP address, used only in coded form to stop spam and fake orders
• Browser type and device information
• Anonymous page speed data, so we can keep the website fast

2. How we use your information

• To prepare and deliver your orders
• To call you about your order and answer your questions
• To show your order status and payment updates on the website
• To give loyalty rewards
• To improve our food, service and website
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not send promotional messages unless you ask us to.

3. Cookies and browser storage

We use your browser's storage (similar to cookies) to:

• Remember your basket, language, and the name and address you typed
• Let you follow orders you placed from this phone
• Measure page speed (anonymous, no advertising trackers)

You can clear this data anytime through your browser settings.

4. Data security

Your details travel over a secure (HTTPS) connection and are stored in a protected database that only our restaurant team can open after signing in. Payments are handled by Paytm under RBI rules.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only in these cases:

• a) Service providers that run our website and payments: Paytm (payments), Supabase (secure database) and Vercel (website hosting). Maa AI dish suggestions send only your food preferences, never your name or number, to an AI service. We deliver with our own staff, so no delivery company receives your address.
• b) Legal requirements: if required by law, or to protect our legal rights and prevent fraud.

6. Your rights and choices

You have the right to:

• See or update your personal data
• Ask us to delete your data
• Stop any messages from us at any time
• Withdraw your consent to how we use your data

7. Third-party links

Our website links to other services such as Google Maps, WhatsApp and Paytm. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we recommend reading their policies before sharing personal information with them.

8. Children's privacy

Online ordering is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we find that we have, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
